The rosters of the national teams that will represent Italy at the 35th Euro-African Men’s Spearfishing Championship and the 4th Euro-African Women’s Spearfishing Championship, respectively, have been announced. The events are scheduled to take place in Bar, in Montenegro, from October 22 to 25 (competition days are Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25).
The Italian delegation will consist of the Head of Delegation, Alessandro Congedo; the Technical Director of the Men’s National Team, Marco Bardi; the Technical Director of the Women’s National Team, Tiziana Martinelli; and the following athletes:
Men’s National Team
Owners: Giacomo De Mola, Fabio Dessì, and Luca Vallicelli
Reserve: Luigi Puretti
Assistants: Alfonso Cubicciotto, Riccardo Emma, Roberto La Mantia, Marco Muti, and Roberto Poggioli
Women’s National Team
Owners: Elena Bartolacci, Elisa Corallo, and Cinzia Mora Celis
Reserve: Barbara Bennici
The names of the assistants who will round out the Women’s National Team roster will be announced as soon as possible.
