NappiSub Mustang will be present at the EUDI SHOW 2026, as already anticipated in the presentation of the many (and still not all) artisans attending this year. The European Dive Show, Europe’s largest fair related to spearfishing and freediving, but also to scuba diving, travel and boating, promises a further revival this year thanks to the excellent presence of artisans. The 2025 edition, in fact, with the return of the fair to February, has already highlighted the huge potential audience for an event that reaches its 31st year in 2026. Attended by many large companies, last year’s event lacked artisans, who will instead be present in force this year. Nappi Sub Mustang is a Made in Italy artisan company.

We asked Ivan Nappi a few questions to better introduce his business ahead of theEUDI Show 2026, which will be held at the Bologna Fair Feb. 20-22.
Apnea Passion Magazine – What does the EUDI Show represent to you for the world of Apnea and Spearfishing?
Ivan Nappi: For us, theEUDI Show is the beating heart of the industry. This year takes on an even more special value, because it will be our first participation. We are sincerely excited: it is an important step for a small artisan company like ours, born recently and used to work with care, precision and passion.
TheEUDI represents the meeting point for those who really live the sea-athletes, fishermen, and enthusiasts-and for us it is a real opportunity to confront the market, listen to those who use sling spearguns on a daily basis, and get a closer look at our work. We want to present ourselves with humility, but also with the knowledge of our expertise: sling spearguns built one by one, with authentic craftsmanship.
It is the perfect opportunity to let people touch the quality of our work, explain how our sling spearguns are created, and create the direct relationship with the customer that we have always considered an indispensable value.
Apnea Passion Magazine – What new products, key models and special offers will you be exhibiting and offering at the EUDI Show 2026?
Ivan Nappi: We will focus on three key elements.
1 – Mustang Essential
This is a Vela sling spearguns with an innovative propulsion system inspired by Indonesian fishermen, unique in Italy. Extremely wieldable, it is ideal for ambush, rocket and inshore fishing. The special propulsive geometry guarantees an absolutely precise shot with an almost imperceptible recoil. We will present it with two propulsions, or two distinct propulsive settings, to suit different fishing styles and conditions.
2 – Mustang Vela T
(Also available in a variant with “cuttlebone” barrel and odd-line carriage for easy loading)
This updated line is dedicated to Aspetto spearfishing technique, with optimized profiles and propulsion, increased attention to hydrodynamics, and new customization options.

3 – A Little Big Pride
We will also present the smallest sail ever built in the world, in size 34: a true exercise in technique and precision craftsmanship.

We will also be offering dedicated EUDI offerings at the fair, as a thank you to those who appreciate craftsmanship and want to learn more about it, along with an assortment of accessories to complete the set-up or for DIY enthusiasts.
Apnea Passion Magazine – From a business perspective, what potential do you see in the EUDI Show?
Ivan Nappi: From a business point of view, we see in the EUDI Show a really significant potential, especially since it will be our first participation. The growing numbers and the relaunch of Apnea Village confirm that the industry is experiencing a period of great ferment.
For an artisanal reality like ours, which grows mainly through social channels and word of mouth,EUDI means being able to come into direct contact with a heterogeneous audience: from the simple enthusiast and neophyte to spearfishing professionals, all of whom are particularly attentive to quality Made in Italy craftsmanship.
EUDI allows us to show up close what is behind our sling spearguns: carefully chosen wood, in-water testing, hours of workmanship . This human contact often makes a difference commercially as well, because those who understand the value of a handcrafted product tend to become loyal customers over time.
Being our first experience, we experience this participation with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility: we want to present ourselves in the right way, listen to those who fish every day, and build relationships that can turn into lasting collaborations.
Strengthening the Apnea Village opens up additional opportunities for discussion with athletes, instructors and enthusiasts. It is a valuable opportunity to gather concrete suggestions, understand where we can improve, and develop a relationship based on trust and constructive exchange that will help us grow step by step.
Ultimately, for us EUDI is not just a commercial showcase, but a true human and professional investment, capable of combining visibility, confrontation and growth.
