C4 Carbon with the D&D launches a neck weight with the aim of offering a solution both for Dynamic and CWT. After the Dyno, definitely a great solution for Dynamic in the pool, but with some limits in CWT, the D&D could be the an all- rounder.

CWT
Adjustable weight
With a U-Shaped base going around the neck, the D&D permits adjustable weight from 1030 to 1630 grams. This is done by working on 5 detachable elements per side. These can be swapped between heavy leds, of 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 grams, and empty plastic elements of negligible weight. By unscrewing the two steel elements at the end of each side of the D&D, simply using one’s hands, the process is easy and fast.

Rotating elements for perfect fit
The just nominated elements go well beyond the simple adjustment of the total weight of the D&D. In fact, they can be easily turned so the D&D adheres perfectly around the neck. This is possible also thanks to the fact that such elements have different sizes, so the terminal ones are bigger that the others. Such solution is the key characteristic which makes the D&D great also in CWT and deep dives.

Bending the U
The D&D in its basic design, has an internal led heart, and an external rubber cover. Such cover helps to fix the neck weight to the freediver. The internal led heart can be bent easily using the hands, not exaggerating to avoid breaking the metal in time, and so the U shape adapts even better to the neck, keeping the D&D still during the vertical dives.

The two steel closing screws have each a hole for the passage of a line which on the other end has a clip. The two clips are blocked together and become a safety system to avoid losing the D&D even if, by any chance, it comes off the neck.
Dynamic

A tail for greater weight
The base part of the D&D reaches 1.630 Kg and this is great for CWT, but more weight could be needed. In Dynamic apnea, the C4 Dyno offers as base a greater minimum weight of 2.630 Kg, which makes it interesting especially for such discipline. The D&D can also increase a lot its total weight thanks to attachable weights which create a tail at the rear, along the back of the freediver. These elements are the same as the ones used for the Dyno, so the difference is in the base of the two neck weights.
The single weights are equal to 500 grams the first one connected to the U, 380 grams, then there is one block of 1 Kg, which can be of course repeated to add one Kg at the time, then 280 grams and the terminal element weighs 210 grams.

Complete offer
The C4 D&D is offered in the versions 1.6, 3.0, and 4.0 Kg, which differ simply by the weights of the “tail”. So the 1.6 Kg is made base the U shaped base, the 3.0 has 4 elements of the tail, 500, 380, 280 and 210 grams, and the 4 Kg has an additional one kg weight.
