Amazing news in the freediving and spearfishing world: One of the leading Italian companies in the international freediving and spearfishing panorama, Cetma Composites, launches its first diving mask, the Cetma Shark. Not only, the new mask reproposes, more than anyone else until now, the design and winning qualities of one of the most loved and missed products on the market, the Technisub Micromask.
Same skirt and lenses
As seen by other companies on the market, also Cetma Composites has been smart enough to repropose the winning design of the lenses and skirt of the Technisub Micromask. We would say they are almost identical. All this brings definitely to an extremely wide field of view, very low internal volume, and fantastic fit on most faces.
The cardan joint on the chassis a real plus
But the real difference between the Cetma Shark mask and the Technisub Micromask, compared to all other similar solutions on the market, is the connection between the rear strap of the mask and the chassis. This is obtained with a cardan joint, or universal joint, connected directly to the chassis. Other solutions on the market have simple joints connected to the skirt, with the risk of deformation of the latter when pulling the rear strap. With the cardan joint on the Cetma Shark mask, there is no real difference, apart eventually for the softness of the silicone and other small design details, between the Technisub Micromask, not sold anymore and so much missed, and the mask by the Italian company.

Very soon we will present this new exciting product in our X-Rays article, and we are ready for important tests both at our partner location, the amazing Y-40, and with the certification of internal volume and field of view. According to Cetma Composites, the internal volume of their Shark mask might even be better than the one of the Technisub Micromask. We will see, stay tuned…
