Who is Francisco Quesada
Originally from Córdoba, Spain, and now based in the Philippines, Quesada has built a reputation as one of the most versatile athletes on the international scene. Ranked among the top 5 freedivers in the world according to The Freediving Ranking, he delivers top-level performances across both pool disciplines and depth competitions, a rare combination that makes him particularly valuable for technical product testing.
Independence and Apnea Passion philosophy
What makes Francisco’s entry into the Apnea Passion Team especially significant is his complete independence. Quesada has always chosen not to be tied to any brand, maintaining full freedom in selecting the most suitable equipment depending on conditions, discipline, and performance goals. Career and achievements
His career includes eight Spanish national records, several international medals and a silver medal at the 2024 World Championships in CNF, behind Alexey Molchanov, confirming his position among the elite of international freediving. After a challenging 2025 season, affected by injury and illness ahead of key competitions, Quesada is now fully focused on a strong return in 2026.
