On the reel
“I have tested the 1.7 mm diameter red High-Tech Dyneema from Deep Blue Sub. It feels waxed, which is definitely something that can improve the sliding performance of the line in the water and on the reel. The winding on the reel has been easy even though a 1.7 mm diameter is definitely not very thin.”

“The case has wanted that during the test I have shot a dusky grouper hitting it incredibly on the tail, with a very unstable and critical hold.
Still, the extremely good sliding of the High-Tech Dyneema has permitted to avoid eccessive resistance and pull on the fish.
This has given me the possibility to work the fish and bring it home! The evaluation of this aspect is extremely positive.”
Resistance
The resistance of the High-Tech Dyneema by Deep Blue Sub is definitely the key aspect of this line. To be able to verify such aspect and the durability of the line in tough conditions I have created some wishbones for my spearguns. The final result was extremely good with the High-Tech Dyneema having a longer life even compared to the very high quality Dyneema I have been using until now. The High-Tech Dyneema line by Deep Blue Sub seems a great solution, the best I have tried until now.”
