Spetton CX Vulcan 2.0, Zeus and Artemis – Three Carbon Fins; Three Ways to Perform
Spetton’s new carbon fins lineup brings to the market a trio of high-performance models designed to meet the needs of different diving styles and conditions. The CX Vulcan 2.0, CX Zeus, and CX Artemis share a common DNA of advanced carbon engineering, but each is crafted to serve a specific purpose — from maximum thrust and deep diving performance to agility, efficiency, and value.
CX Vulcan 2.0 – HT50 TWILL 24K

The CX Vulcan 2.0 is Spetton’s flagship fin, developed with exclusive 24K HT50 Twill Matte carbon from one of the world’s top manufacturers. This blade is designed to deliver the highest performance with the lowest effort, reducing energy absorption and significantly limiting fatigue. Available in two stiffness options, 25 and 30, the Vulcan 2.0 adapts to both experienced divers looking for reactivity and those seeking a slightly stiffer push. Its 880 mm blade length, combined with the DCP (Double Curved Parabolic) profile, 32° blade angle (29° of the blade and 3° of the foot pocket), and concave tip, provides explosive propulsion and precise underwater control. Paired optionally with TRE or QUATTRO foot pockets (we received the QUATTRO), it stands out as the most technical and powerful fin of the trio, recommended especially for deep spearfishing, vertical drops, and long aspetto at depth.

CX Zeus – Performance 16K MATE

The CX Zeus shares the same blade length and hydrodynamic architecture as the Vulcan, but is built with T700 16K Performance carbon, offering a slightly different character. With a blade stiffness rated at 30, the Zeus is stiffer than the Vulcan in its soft version and delivers fast, reactive feedback ideal for spearos who need strong acceleration and high blade stability in deeper ambush techniques. Like the Vulcan, it features the Regular H7 rails, 32° angle (29° of the blade and 3° of the foot pocket), and concave tip, but its feel is more compact and firm under stress. The Zeus is especially suited for deep ambushes, where you need consistent propulsion and a solid response during recovery.
CX Artemis – Dynamic 12K MATE

The CX Artemis offers a more compact and agile alternative, designed with T700 Dinamic 1×1 carbon in 12K braid, and a blade length of 800 mm, so 8 cm shorter than the Vulcan and Zeus. The angle is still 29° of the blade plus 3° of the foot pocket, for total 32°. With a rated stiffness of 25 Plus, it is light, soft and highly responsive, offering great comfort and control even in turbulent or shallow waters. Its new lamination and braiding structure enhance thrust and reactivity with minimal effort. The Artemis is particularly well suited for surface transfers and rocky coastlines, where quick maneuverability and efficient energy use are crucial. Equipped as standard with Quattro foot pockets, and finished with a semi-convex blade tip, it combines efficiency and reliability in a very lightweight design.
Three fins for all needs
While all three fins share Spetton’s signature design focus and hydrodynamic precision, their differences define distinct use cases.
The Vulcan 2.0 is ideal for elite-level performance with reduced fatigue during long and deep dives.
The Zeus provides a firm, stable response and excels in drop spearfishing and deep ambush situations, where control and stiffness are essential.
The Artemis, meanwhile, is perfect for shallow spearfishing in the foam and in-shore spearfishing, offering excellent thrust, reactivity and comfort in rough conditions.
