25° Croatian National Spearfishing Championship for Teams will be held on Saturday 29th of September in the aquatorium of island Pag.
Organizer of the Championship is the Croatian Federation of Sports Fishing on the Sea and the host is Sports Fishing Club „Luc“, from town Novalja.
Teams can have two, maximum three members and duration of competition is five hours.
Entry list sees 49 competitors from 17 clubs registered for competition as of today.
Start of competition is on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. local time, while the end is at 14:00 and weighing starts at 16:00. In case of bad weather competition will be on Sunday.
Minimum weight for first group (seabreams, mullets, dentex, wrasses, red scorpionfish…) is 400 grams and it is allowed to catch 10 pieces per species per team.
For group two (congers, morays…) minimum is 2500 grams and it is allowed to catch five pieces per team.
Last year the Champion has been team Split with Josko Petrov, Petar Prkic and Ervin Siriscevic. Second were athletes from Parangal Cres and third was team from Erik Radin Novigrad.
