Salvimar<\/a><\/strong> \u00e8 una delle aziende pi\u00f9 dinamiche del mercato<\/strong> . L’ azienda italiana<\/strong> partecipa al ” Dossier migliori maschere<\/strong> ” con una linea molto completa per la pesca in apnea e l’apnea. Un totale di 7 diverse maschere Salvimar.<\/p>\n\n

Salvimar <\/strong>has actually moved towards high level masks, such as the frameless, and the standard dismountable solutions are only two. Actually it is the same model, with or without the cam support: the Morpheus and the Trinity.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Skirt and rear strap<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The Morpheus<\/strong> is offered in total black, black skirt and green frame, or in transparent silicone skirt. The Trinity<\/strong> is either all black, or with transparent silicone skirt. The material is a standard glossy hypoallergenic silicone<\/strong> for both masks. The rear strap <\/strong>is a nice design with glossy and matt surfaces. It permits to position the snorkel on the rear of the head<\/strong> to avoid it from shaking during the dive. The adjustment system is very intuitive<\/strong> with two opposing buttons that must be pressed to unlock the system.<\/p>\n\n

Dimensioni e pesi<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

Wide lenses for a good field of view<\/strong>. We measured 5 cm the maximum width and 6.4 cm the maximum height<\/strong>, so high values. Also the skirt <\/strong>is quite big, 12 cm wide and 10.4 cm high in the center.<\/strong> The frame is almost 15 cm wide and 7.8 cm high<\/strong>. The Trinity though, due to the cam support, has a total height of the chassis equal to 9.2 cm. The weight <\/strong>of the Morpheus is 165 grams,<\/strong> while the Trinity is 195 grams<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Frameless a due lenti<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The two lenses frameless masks<\/strong> solution is one of the most advanced ones<\/strong>. In the case of Salvimar a nylon frame is fused with the skirt and the lenses in a very advanced production process<\/strong>. It is here where Salvimar<\/strong> has been working so hard presenting the first model, the excellent Salvimar Noah<\/a>,<\/strong> already in 2016. It was one of the best masks for field of view and the absolute best as reduced internal volume. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

So, starting from the already presented Noah<\/strong>, to the more recent Fly<\/strong> and the latest Hathor, Salvimar<\/strong> has 3 different masks in its double lenses frameless line. All of them are extremely nice in the design, but most of all compact, indicating very low internal volume (but we will measure that in the coming weeks). Each one of them has a special internal frame that,<\/strong> differently from other offers on the market, gives stiffness to the mask and avoids water leakage due to deformation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Compattezza e campo visivo<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The newest Salvimar mask on the market, the Hathor<\/strong>, has a silicone facial fused together with the lenses and the frame obtaining the most compact design. This permits to reduce the internal volume and to have the lenses closer to the eyes to increase the field of view. In all the Salvimar frameless masks Massimo Quattrone, Salvimar Product Manager,<\/strong> has always taken a lot of care to avoid <\/strong>that the lenses, even though close to the eyes, could come to contact with the eye-lashes<\/strong>. This aspect in fact would become extremely annoying for the spearfisherman of freediver. It would by the way lead to losing the visual focus. The lenses are carefully designed to improve to the maximum the field of view.<\/p>\n\n

Il facciale<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

Il facciale<\/strong> \u00e8 realizzato in silicone anallergico<\/strong> , e il suo design, come quello di qualsiasi componente della maschera, \u00e8 disegnato per evitare qualsiasi interferenza con il campo visivo<\/strong> . Il volume basso<\/strong> aiuta la fase di compensazione. Il profilo della zona naso-fronte ha il tipico scalino Salvimar<\/strong> per evitare che la fronte venga pressata e generi dolore. La parte interna del facciale ha imbottiture ai lati del naso per il miglior comfort e un’ulteriore riduzione del volume interno. Il silicone utilizzato \u00e8 opaco sia internamente che esternamente per ridurre i riflessi della luce.<\/strong> L’Hathor \u00e8 offerta in nero o verde militare<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n

Rear strap adjustment and design<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The strap adjustment<\/strong> is done easily pressing vertically two opposed buttons<\/strong>. The design of the buckle itself is wide to adhere at best to the head. Also, as common on Salvimar masks, the strap has a passage for the snorkel to be positioned on the rear of the head.<\/strong> This permits to keep it still especially in the ascent phase of the dive. <\/p>\n\n

La maschera Salvimar Hathor pesa 130 grammi<\/strong> . Le lenti misurano 5,3 cm di altezza massima e 5,1 cm di larghezza massima<\/strong> . Sono progettate con cinque lati<\/strong> , un dettaglio per il miglior campo visivo insieme a una grande compattezza. La larghezza massima del telaio interno rigido in nylon \u00e8 di 14 cm<\/strong> . L’ altezza del facciale \u00e8 di 9,3 cm<\/strong> , mentre la larghezza del profilo del facciale \u00e8 di 12,5 cm<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n

The Salvimar mask Fly<\/strong> is similar to the Hathor <\/strong>for what concerns all the excellent details already presented, starting from the frameless solution. It has a specific design, a little bigger than the Hathor,<\/strong> that evidently can adapt differently to the spearfisheman’s face. The rear strap <\/strong>is more traditional then the one of the Hathor, with only two bands<\/strong>. The micrometric adjustment<\/strong> system is the same as the Hathor. Also the Fly is offered in total black and full military green.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The lenses are extremely refined, with 8 different sides<\/strong> to obtain the best field of view. Max height is 5 cm and maximum width 4.6 cm<\/strong> (AP measures). The maximum width of the internal frame is 14.5 cm<\/strong>, so half a cm more than the Hathor. The skirt measures 9.5 cm <\/strong>centrally and 13 as maximum width<\/strong> of the border. The weight of the Salvimar mask Fly is 140 grams<\/strong>, 10 more than the Hathor.<\/p>\n\n

La maschera Salvimar Noah<\/a><\/strong> \u00e8 sicuramente un best seller<\/strong> e un ottimo prodotto che ha fissato standard estremamente elevati nel segmento delle maschere a basso volume. Gli elementi cardine delle maschere frameless Salvimar sono presenti su una maschera che nel 2016 \u00e8 stata la migliore in assoluto sul mercato per volume interno ridotto. Misurammo 94 ml reali<\/strong> . Nessuna maschera misurata riusci ad eguagliare la Noah. <\/p>\n\n

Skirt and rear strap<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The Salvimar Noah<\/strong> is offered in 4<\/strong> different colors<\/strong>. Black skirt and green frame, all black, black skirt and acid green frame and white skirt and blue frame for freediving. The silicone is matt externally <\/strong>on the sides and the top of the skirt, while it is glossy just on the sides of the lenses<\/strong> and on the nose area<\/strong>. The base of the nose, on the sides, sees two small areas with folded silicone that help to avoid the skirt deforming too much when pressing the nose for equalization. The rear strap <\/strong>is the same as the one on the Morpheus and Trinity. It gives the opportunity to position the snorkel on the rear of the head. The micrometric adjustment system<\/strong> is almost identical to the one of the Hathor and the Fly.<\/p>\n\n

La Salvimar Noah<\/strong> risult\u00f2 molto compatta nel 2016, e lo \u00e8 ancora oggi rispetto ai concorrenti. Vediamo il confronto con le nuove maschere Salvimar Hathor e Fly. Il peso \u00e8 di 140 grammi<\/strong> , proprio come la Fly, e 10 grammi in pi\u00f9 rispetto alla Hathor. Le lenti sono alte 5,3 cm e larghe 5,4 cm<\/strong> . Sono progettate con 5 lati<\/strong> . Quindi sono pi\u00f9 grandi della Fly e della Hathor, dove probabilmente Salvimar ha voluto mantenere le lenti pi\u00f9 piccole ottimizzando la forma per mantenere il grande campo visivo della Noah, ma riducendo il volume interno. \u00c8 possibile? Misureremo entrambe! Il facciale \u00e8 largo 12,5 cm e alto 9,9 cm al centro.<\/strong> Il telaio \u00e8 largo 14,7 cm<\/strong> , 2 mm pi\u00f9 largo della Fly e 7 mm pi\u00f9 largo della Hathor. Sembra che Salvimar abbia proseguito partendo dal successo della Noah e l’abbia ottimizzato creando la Hathor, molto estrema nella compattezza, e la Fly, leggermente pi\u00f9 grande. <\/p>\n\n

Frameless – monolente<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n

Quando si parla di maschere frameless<\/strong> , quelle pi\u00f9 classice sono in realt\u00e0 le monolenti<\/strong> . In questo caso \u00e8 la lente stessa a dare rigidit\u00e0 alla maschera<\/strong> . Tale soluzione semplifica la costruzione, in quanto non \u00e8 necessario un terzo elemento, il telaio in nylon, da fondere con il facciale . Tuttavia, questa soluzione pu\u00f2 dare qualche aumento del campo visivo centralmente, ma limita leggermente la compattezza e la riduzione del volume interno<\/strong> . Questo perch\u00e9 la monolente nella parte centrale tra gli occhi deve avere una certa altezza per non rompersi. Questo determina che deve essere tenuta pi\u00f9 lontano dagli occhi<\/strong> . Tale aspetto riduce anche parzialmente il campo visivo rispetto alla soluzione frameless a doppia lente. Anche qui, Salvimar propone due modelli estremamente interessanti e, come tutte le altre maschere della linea, con \u201cdesign\u201d e \u201cconcept tecnico\u201d made in Salvimar. <\/p>\n\n

Skirt and real strap<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

The Salvimar Endless<\/strong> is the most compact <\/strong>of the two monolens masks by the Italian company. The skirt <\/strong>is in glossy silicone<\/strong>, both externally and internally. The nose area has two lateral indentations <\/strong>that help filling the internal volume still keeping good space for the nose. As on the Noah, the base of the nose has small folded silicone<\/strong> areas to help avoiding deformation of the skirt while pressing the nose during equalization. The rear strap <\/strong>is the same as the Hathor, with matt neoprene and an advanced design. The strap adjustment<\/strong> is again the same as on the other Salvimar masks, with an easy two use to vertical buttons system<\/strong>. This is probably one of the most intuitive systems on the market. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Il monovetro \u00e8 alto 6 cm e largo 13,5 cm .<\/strong> Ovviamente non pu\u00f2 essere paragonato alle maschere a doppio vetro per quanto riguarda la larghezza, ma in effetti l’altezza \u00e8 maggiore delle 3 maschere frameless a doppio vetro. Il peso \u00e8 di 160 grammi<\/strong> . La larghezza del telaio \u00e8 ridotta, solo 14 cm<\/strong> . Il facciale \u00e8 largo 14,5 cm e alto al centro 9,9 cm<\/strong> ; valori standard per Salvimar. <\/p>\n\n

The rear strap<\/strong> is the same as the one of the Noah, with a nice mix of matt and glossy surfaces<\/strong>. It also gives the opportunity to well position the snorkel in the rear of the head<\/strong> to keep to from shaking during the dive.<\/p>\n\n

Misure e peso<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

La Neo pesa 175 grammi<\/strong> , come previsto pi\u00f9 della Endless. La monovetro \u00e8 alta 6,6 cm e larga 13,7 cm<\/strong> . Il facciale \u00e8 largo 12,5 cm e alto 9,8 cm al centro.<\/strong> La larghezza massima della parte rigida della maschera<\/strong> determinata dal monolente e dal profilo in gomma \u00e8 di 15 cm di larghezza.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Conclusioni<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Salvimar dispone di una linea di maschere davvero completa<\/strong> , focalizzata principalmente su soluzioni frameless<\/strong> di altissima qualit\u00e0. Sia sui modelli a doppio vetro che su quelli monovetro la qualit\u00e0 costruttiva sembra estremamente elevata.<\/strong> Essa d\u00e0 la precisa sensazione di assenza del rischio di scollaggio degli elementi fusi insieme. Non abbiamo infatti alcuna notizia di tale problema sulle maschere Salvimar. Le tradizionali maschere smontabili<\/strong> sono forse meno un focus per Salvimar,<\/strong> ma completano comunque la gamma, sia con una versionestandard che con una con supporto teleamera<\/strong> . Tutto sommato, dipende sempre da come si adatta la maschera e come funziona sul nostro viso. Ma guardando i numeri, il trio di maschere Salvimar, la Noah, la Fly e la Hathor<\/strong> in particolare, sembrano essere ottime scelte come soluzioni frameless.<\/p>\n\n
