Bien que la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;air n\u00e9cessaire soit relativement faible, elle repr\u00e9sente une <strong>d\u00e9pense continue de pr\u00e9cieuses r\u00e9serves d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne<\/strong>. L&rsquo;utilisation de lunettes de plong\u00e9e lors de plong\u00e9es profondes et de comp\u00e9titions a \u00e9t\u00e9 une solution, mais uniquement possible en inondant les lunettes avec une solution saline, car les liquides sont incompressibles et il n&rsquo;est pas n\u00e9cessaire de les compenser alors que la pression externe augmente. Plut\u00f4t que de s&rsquo;appuyer sur une chambre \u00e0 air rigide, ces lunettes utilisent un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;<strong>adaptation \u00e0 la pression <\/strong>avec des <strong>membranes sp\u00e9ciales <\/strong>qui suivent les changements qui se produisent au cours de la plong\u00e9e.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-comment-ils-fonctionnent\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Comment ils fonctionnent<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chaque masque <strong>Hektometer 2.0<\/strong> poss\u00e8de <strong>deux membranes internes<\/strong>, une de chaque c\u00f4t\u00e9. La membrane externe est plus large, tandis que la membrane interne est plus r\u00e9duite. Lorsque l&rsquo;apn\u00e9iste descend, la pression externe de l&rsquo;eau augmente de 1 atm tous les 10 m\u00e8tres, \u00e0 partir de 1 atm \u00e0 la surface. Ainsi, pendant la descente, l&rsquo;eau entre de l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur par de petits passages sur les lunettes reli\u00e9s aux membranes. Celles-ci se gonflent donc en occupant le volume interne des lunettes, qui s&rsquo;\u00e9quilibrent automatiquement. En effet, l&rsquo;air contenu dans les lunettes est comprim\u00e9 et augmente sa pression pour compenser la pression ext\u00e9rieure. Lors de la remont\u00e9e, la pression externe diminue et l&rsquo;eau contenue dans les membranes sort pouss\u00e9e par la pression de l&rsquo;air qui se dilate pour retrouver son volume initial.
